My Story
I am a licensed independent substance abuse counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners; member in good standing with NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals; and a Certified First Responder Counselor by Academy Hour. I obtained a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of Phoenix.

I have been working with individuals and families with mental health and addiction issues for the past sixteen years. My experience includes: Street outreach to homeless teens; Family support to girls and women; Direct care in group home for sex-trafficked teenage girls; Family support specialist; Outpatient counselor for families with addiction and custody struggles; Individual and group counselor in an intensive outpatient day program for co-occurring disorders; and Counselor in a residential substance abuse treatment center.
